Colorful Salad Bowl Bundle grows best when sown in Valar’s all-purpose potting mix or any light, well-drained growing medium that supports healthy roots, strong plants, and fresh salad harvests. Lettuce, Carrot, and Beetroot perform best in cooler weather, while Cherry Tomato, Cucumber, and Yellow Bell Pepper grow well in bright sunlight and mild to warm conditions, making this bundle perfect for balcony, terrace, and home salad gardening.

Sow seeds directly in pots, grow bags, nursery trays, or seedling trays filled with Valar’s all-purpose potting mix or any light, well-drained growing medium. Keep the soil lightly moist and place it in a bright, ventilated spot. Most seeds usually start sprouting within 5–21 days, depending on the variety and weather.

The first harvest from the Colorful Salad Bowl Bundle can begin around 30–45 days after sowing for Lettuce Lola Rosa, depending on growing conditions. Cucumber usually begins harvesting around 45–60 days, Beetroot around 55–70 days, Cherry Tomato and Yellow Bell Pepper around 65–90 days, and Carrot around 70–100 days. With proper sunlight, watering, nutrition, and care, this bundle gives you fresh, colourful ingredients for salads, wraps, bowls, and healthy meals.

Sowing Depth: 0.25 inch in light, well-drained soil

Best Sowing Place: Seed trays, nursery pots, pots, grow bags, balconies, terraces, kitchen gardens, backyard gardens, and open soil

Sunlight: 4–6 hours sunlight for Lettuce Lola Rosa; 5–6 hours sunlight for Carrot and Beetroot; 6–8 hours sunlight for Cherry Tomato, Cucumber, and Yellow Bell Pepper

Watering: Keep the soil lightly moist, but avoid overwatering and waterlogging

Transplanting: Transplant Cherry Tomato, Yellow Bell Pepper, Cucumber, and Lettuce seedlings when they have 3–4 true leaves. Carrot and Beetroot are best sown directly in pots or grow bags.

Spacing: Keep 4–6 inches spacing for Carrot, Beetroot, and Lettuce. Keep 12–18 inches spacing for Cherry Tomato, Cucumber, and Yellow Bell Pepper.

Care Tip: Use support sticks or trellis for Cherry Tomato and Cucumber. For Carrot and Beetroot, use loose soil without stones for better root development.
