Sowing Depth: Sow according to seed size. Alyssum Blue, Cineraria Mixed, Dianthus Mixed, Pansy Mixed, Gypsophila White, and Petunia Mixed have fine seeds and should be surface-sown or covered only with a very thin layer of growing medium. Cosmos Pink, Marigold Orange, Poppy, and Sweet William can be sown around 0.25 inch deep.

Best Sowing Place: Seed trays, nursery pots, pots, grow bags, balconies, terraces, flower beds, backyard gardens, raised beds, borders, and open soil.

Sunlight: Provide around 4–6 hours of sunlight daily. Cosmos, Marigold, Poppy, Gypsophila, and Sweet William perform best with good sunlight. Alyssum, Cineraria, Dianthus, Pansy, and Petunia prefer bright light and can benefit from protection from harsh afternoon sun, especially in warmer regions.

Watering: Keep the growing medium lightly and evenly moist during germination. Use gentle watering or misting for tiny seeds such as Alyssum, Cineraria, Dianthus, Pansy, Gypsophila, and Petunia so the seeds are not displaced. Avoid overwatering and waterlogging.

Transplanting: Alyssum, Cineraria, Dianthus, Pansy, Cosmos, Marigold, Sweet William, and Petunia can be started in seedling trays and transplanted when they develop 3–4 true leaves. Gypsophila and Poppy generally perform better with minimal root disturbance and can be directly sown where possible.

Spacing: Keep approximately 4–6 inches between Alyssum plants; 6–8 inches between Pansy, Dianthus, Petunia, and Gypsophila; 8–12 inches between Cineraria, Sweet William, Cosmos, and Marigold; and around 6–10 inches between Poppy plants.

Care Tip: During November, provide good airflow, bright light, and proper drainage. Avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet. Thin crowded seedlings early and regularly remove faded flowers after blooming begins to encourage healthy growth and continued flowering.
