Pack of 10 October Sowing Vegetable Seeds grows best when sown in Valar’s all-purpose potting mix or any fertile, light, and well-drained growing medium during October and the transition into cooler weather. This pack brings together root vegetables, leafy greens, herbs, and cool-season vegetables for a productive kitchen garden, making it suitable for balconies, terraces, grow bags, raised beds, backyard gardens, and open soil.

Sow the seeds in pots, grow bags, nursery trays, seedling trays, raised beds, or open soil filled with Valar’s all-purpose potting mix or any light, fertile, and well-drained growing medium. Carrot, Beetroot, White Radish, Spinach, Dill, and Coriander are best directly sown in their final growing space, while Broccoli, Cauliflower, Lolla Rosa Lettuce, and Pak Choi can be started in seedling trays and transplanted later. Keep the soil lightly moist and place the seeds in a bright, well-ventilated location. Most varieties usually begin germinating within 3–14 days, depending on the seed type and weather.

The first harvest from the Pack of 10 October Sowing Vegetable Seeds can begin around 25–40 days after sowing with Spinach, young Lolla Rosa Lettuce, Pak Choi, Coriander, and White Radish, depending on growing conditions. Dill can generally be harvested around 40–60 days, while Beetroot and Carrot may take around 50–90 days. Broccoli and Cauliflower generally become ready around 70–100 days after sowing, depending on the variety, climate, and plant care.

Sowing Depth: 0.25–0.5 inch in light, well-drained soil, depending on the variety. Sow Carrot, White Radish, Lolla Rosa Lettuce, Pak Choi, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Dill, and Coriander shallow, while Beetroot and Spinach can be sown slightly deeper.

Best Sowing Place: Seed trays, nursery pots, pots, grow bags, balconies, terraces, kitchen gardens, backyard gardens, raised beds, and open soil.

Sunlight: 4–6 hours of sunlight daily. Carrot, Beetroot, White Radish, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Dill, and Coriander perform best with good sunlight, while Spinach, Lettuce, and Pak Choi can tolerate some partial shade.

Watering: Keep the growing medium evenly and lightly moist. Avoid overwatering and waterlogging, especially for root vegetables and brassicas.

Transplanting: Transplant Broccoli, Cauliflower, Lolla Rosa Lettuce, and Pak Choi seedlings when they develop 3–4 true leaves. Carrot, Beetroot, White Radish, Spinach, Dill, and Coriander are best sown directly in their final pots, grow bags, or beds to avoid root disturbance.

Spacing: Keep around 3–6 inches spacing for Spinach, Lettuce, Pak Choi, Carrot, Beetroot, White Radish, Dill, and Coriander; 8–12 inches for Broccoli and Cauliflower.

Care Tip: During October, provide good sunlight, airflow, and drainage. Thin crowded root vegetables and leafy-green seedlings early so each plant has enough space to develop. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.
